We know of at least 20 NHSCA members who were on the March although, due to the enormous turnout, not all managed to find our banner.
Our group linked up with KONP and met other NHS organizations including those representing nurses, physiotherapists and radiographers together with many local activists. The atmosphere was good humoured but determined and we saw nothing of the fringe disturbances which grabbed the headlines.
So great were the numbers that it took well over four hours to walk from the Embankment to Hyde Park.
Altogether an impressive occasion which will no doubt have played its part in the pressure on Mr Lansley and his colleagues, which now seems to be having significant effect
